MyMafiaCrime pays. Eventually.

THE PLAYER’S FIELD MANUAL

How to Play MyMafia

A task-by-task handbook for understanding the city, making progress, and knowing why a button may not be available.

Fastest answer: use the chapter list below, or return Home and follow Sal’s current orientation card.
01

Your first 30 minutes

Start on Home and follow Sal’s Five-Envelope Orientation. Use Show me where whenever you lose the thread. The orientation is the safest order in which to learn the game.

  1. Choose a public game name. Your sign-in name and email remain private.
  2. Take Sal’s envelope on Home.
  3. Open Crime, select a low-nerve opportunity, and press Do the crime.
  4. Open Gym and complete one training rep. Training is intentionally one click per rep.
  5. Open Shop, inspect an item, and buy something you can use.
  6. Open Bank and deposit money you do not need immediately.
  7. Open City, choose a destination, and book a trip.
If you are unsure what to do: return Home, read the current orientation card, and use its Show me where button.
02

Read your rap sheet

HealthYour ability to fight and perform dangerous actions. Health also controls how quickly stamina returns and how much training costs.
EnergySpent on training, attacks, and demanding activities. It restores over time.
StaminaYour capacity for sustained training and fighting. Its maximum rises with every character level and prestige.
NerveSpent on crimes and underworld operations. Harder crimes require more nerve.
HeatPolice attention. Failed crimes and reckless decisions add heat and can lead to jail.
Cash on handSpendable immediately, but vulnerable to player attacks.
Bank balanceProtected savings that can earn interest. Withdraw it before spending.
CreditsOptional premium currency. Credits have no cash value and are not required to play.
ReputationYour long-term underworld progress. It raises level and unlocks more systems.
03

A useful daily routine

  1. Check Home for orientation, active events, and objectives.
  2. Spend nerve on crimes appropriate to your current level.
  3. Spend energy and stamina on deliberate training reps or carefully chosen combat.
  4. Claim completed mission, achievement, story, and event rewards.
  5. Bank surplus cash before visiting the street.
  6. Restock businesses, repair equipment, and care for pets.
  7. Help your family, check messages and chat, then choose tomorrow’s goal.

Resources recover with time, so you do not need to exhaust every system in one visit. A good session ends with cash protected and a clear next goal.

04

Crimes, decisions & microgames

On Crime, select an opportunity before committing it. The card shows nerve cost, success odds, and possible payout. A success can award cash, experience, reputation, points, or an item. Failure can add heat, cause injury, or send you to jail.

Every crime has its own mastery record. Attempts and successes award mastery experience; each crime can reach Mastery Level 100. Higher mastery provides a modest advantage for that specific crime, while milestones at levels 25, 50, 75, and 100 award merits. Mastery does not erase risk, cooldowns, or resource costs.

Some crimes trigger a live complication: run, hide, bluff, bribe, or finish the job. The best choice depends on your stats, equipment, pet, vehicle, career, Academy education, and merits. Related Back Room games can improve skill, but practice mode never pays rewards.

Disabled button? Check the button’s requirement, then inspect nerve, health, travel, hospital, jail, cooldown, level, and cash.
05

Work, careers & bounties

Work is the long-form progression desk. Choose assignments to build career experience, earn salaries, unlock perks, meet workplace bosses, and eventually select a prestige path. Assignment decisions may favor different character builds.

Bounties are separate from random street attacks. Gather intel, confirm the target and restrictions, then pursue a valid mark. Bounty histories and rankings are public, and anti-farming limits repeated rewards.

06

Banking & the economy

Use Quick Bank in the left rail for an immediate deposit-all or withdraw-all action. Use the full Bank page for exact amounts, interest, account tiers, limits, and the account statement.

  • Deposit: moves vulnerable cash into protected savings.
  • Withdraw: makes bank funds spendable—and stealable.
  • Interest: settles when ready and is capped to protect the economy.
  • Transfers and marketplace: are audited and rate-limited.

Businesses need stock, protection, and attention. Passive income is not effortless: empty stock, damage, sabotage, taxes, and location affect profit.

07

Cities, property & vehicles

Each city has different crimes, shops, businesses, materials, specialists, pets, law pressure, and events. On City, select a destination to see the fare and travel time before booking.

You may own up to ten cars and switch the active vehicle from the Garage. Each car holds up to ten unique vehicle items. Only the car you are currently driving—and the items installed on it—changes travel fare, trip time, cargo, and getaway performance. Every Prestige tier has an exclusive vehicle.

Vehicle items can be sold back to the system for 50% of their purchase price. Sell installed items before selling a car: anything left attached when the vehicle is sold is permanently deleted without compensation. Player homes provide account buffs, storage, and recovery improvements.

Territory is not travel. Territory districts are family assets claimed through influence and structured wars. Use City to move your character.
08

Equipment, inventory & crafting

Your character has eight armor or gear slots. Two additional weapon slots can be unlocked with credits. Open Equipment to compare items, then drag a compatible item onto a slot or use its equip control.

  • Durability falls through use; broken gear loses value until repaired.
  • Modifications improve an item within controlled limits.
  • Set pieces unlock bonuses when enough matching pieces are equipped.
  • Saved loadouts switch between activities without rebuilding every slot.
  • Click an item name to open its full record, requirements, stats, source, and ownership status.

Items come from city stores, missions, events, rare drops, crafting specialists, family storage, and the player marketplace.

09

Gym, training & pets

Gym is the dedicated training district. There is no daily repetition limit and no late-day stat penalty. Every valid repetition improves Strength, Defense, or Speed and costs one energy plus stamina.

  • At 50–100 health, a rep costs one stamina.
  • At 25–49 health, a rep costs two stamina.
  • Below 25 health, or while hospitalized or jailed, character training is unavailable.
  • Maximum stamina is 12 plus two per character level, plus 10 per prestige, capped at 200.
  • Stamina restores by one every 90 seconds at 75+ health, every two minutes at 40–74 health, and every three minutes below 40 health.

An Endurance Pass can preserve the energy cost, but stamina is always spent. Protection passes provide a short shield but cannot be used to escape an active fight.

Pets have their own level, experience, health, energy, nerve, abilities, injuries, assignments, equipment, and housing. Pet training costs five pet energy and one pet nerve. Energy and nerve regenerate separately, while low health requires care. The integrated Pet Gym is available on Gym and remains available in the Pet District.

At level 50, an animal may prestige. Its level and trained attributes restart, its lifetime record remains, and it earns permanent prestige progress and ability points. Certain collars, leashes, housing, and specialist items require animal prestige.

10

Academy courses & merits

Underworld Academy is the permanent character-development desk. You may study one course at a time. Tuition is paid when enrollment begins, the server records the completion time, and the bonus becomes permanent only after you claim the finished course.

Courses unlock by character level and improve focused areas such as crime odds, payouts, heat control, training, travel, business income, mastery growth, or combat readiness. They are designed as small cumulative advantages rather than instant shortcuts.

Merits are earned from level milestones, prestige, and crime-mastery milestones. Spend them on ranked specializations such as nerve capacity, crime technique, cash handling, heat control, combat, training, travel, or business management. A paid reset returns spent merits if you want to rebuild your specialization.

Important: Academy and merit bonuses stack with existing systems, but they never bypass hospital, jail, travel, protection, cooldown, resource, or level restrictions.
11

Players, messages, chat & forums

Online shows available players and labeled bots. Player names open public profiles. From another player’s profile you can send a private message, add a connection, or prepare a legal game action.

  • Wire: private messages, system notices, replies, archive, unread, and self-destruct.
  • Chat: moderated city and family channels with slow mode, reporting, and staff tools.
  • Forums: Introductions, Game Play, Off-Topic, Game Development, and Graphics Requests.
  • Connections: friends, enemies, notes, support tickets, and audited transfers.

Block unwanted contact and report abuse. Never share passwords, payment details, or personal information in public areas.

12

Families, facilities & territory

A family is a player organization. Recruits have limited access; members contribute; staff run events; assistant leaders manage operations; leaders control the organization. Permissions are enforced by role.

Families can use taxes, vaults, loans, armories, facilities, organized operations, cooperative heists, objectives, announcements, and territory. Facilities range from a Shed to a Gang Island and provide group benefits.

Wars are declared contests with preparation, score objectives, logs, surrender, peace periods, and farming protections. Ordinary attacks do not silently start a family war.

13

PvP & combat reports

Before attacking, check the player’s level, power, city, protection, health, stamina, and likely payout. You must normally be in the same city. Starting an attack costs 16 energy and five stamina; defending a fight consumes three stamina. Low stamina means a smaller readiness bonus, so exhausted players fight less effectively.

The combat report shows round-by-round damage, remaining health, stamina readiness, equipment contribution, pet assistance, critical hits, hospital time, stolen cash, retaliation momentum, and war points when applicable. Repeated attacks on the same target pay less.

New-player protection: prevents immediate farming, but ends gradually. Bank cash and learn recovery before it expires.
14

Hospital, jail & getting unstuck

The custody systems are split into three clear pages: Hospital lists hospitalized players, Jail lists county inmates, and My Recovery contains your own treatment, bail, legal-aid, and timer controls.

  • Hospital: wait, buy treatment, use medicine, or receive help. A player in the same family may attempt an extraction for 14 energy and 6 nerve. Success frees the patient and awards 75 EXP; failure sends the rescuer to jail for five minutes.
  • Jail: serve the sentence, post declining bail, or use legal aid. Any free player may attempt to bust out an inmate for 16 energy and 7 nerve. Success frees the inmate and awards 100 EXP; failure gives the rescuer a five-minute sentence.
  • Travel: wait until arrival; many local actions are unavailable in transit.
  • Pet injury: wait for recovery or use veterinary care.
Before attempting a rescue: the attempt is not guaranteed. Check that you have enough energy and nerve and are willing to risk county hospitality.

If a timer has ended but the page remains locked, reload once. If the problem remains, open Alpha Desk → Report a problem and include the page, action, device, result, and expected result.

15

Missions, objectives & events

Missions and achievements track specific goals. Completing an objective and claiming its reward are separate steps. Story chapters unlock in order.

Events can rotate crimes, city emergencies, family challenges, rare NPCs, seasonal drops, and weekly chapters. Home surfaces active and ending-soon events. Event rewards are capped and recorded.

16

Stocks, Family Gym & account style

Stocks are fictional server-controlled listings. Quotes update every 15 minutes, and a confirmed buy or sell uses the visible quote window plus its displayed fee. Suspended listings cannot be traded. Retired listings remain visible when you still hold shares so existing holdings are not hidden.

Family House includes the facility ladder, Strategy Room, Trophy Hall, and a five-tier Family Gym. Eligible members receive only the displayed chance of one extra stat point on a normally completed Gym set. Leadership chooses a 0, 12, 24, 48, or 72-hour membership wait and may grant, withhold, or restore default access.

Wire bulk actions apply to no more than 30 selected messages in the current Inbox, Sent, or Archive folder. Switching folders clears the selection. If settlement cannot be confirmed, the selected rows remain available for review.

Credits cosmetics are permanent name gradients and profile themes with no stat or settlement advantage. A later game-name change may be paid with 3 credits, 5,000 points, or $250,000 cash.

A failed crime may produce a risk-weighted hospital stay of 2–15 minutes. My Recovery shows the authoritative timer and available options; combat and other systems retain their own consequences.

17

How to report a problem

Use the Alpha Desk when a page is blank, a control does nothing, a rule is unclear, a reward looks wrong, or you find a possible exploit.

  1. Name the page and the exact button or action.
  2. Say what happened and what you expected.
  3. Include phone/desktop, browser, and approximate time.
  4. Mention any active travel, hospital, jail, cooldown, or protection state.
  5. Do not repeat an economy exploit after confirming it once.
