Information we process
To start public registration, we process only your private legal/display name, chosen game name, email address, and required Terms/Privacy and adult confirmation. We do not request browser, device, location, fingerprint, hardware, diagnostic, or beta-contribution information on that public path. After setup, we process securely hashed password credentials, gameplay and economy records, submitted content, support and moderation records, technical errors, security events, and usage statistics. If a signed-in game page crashes, the recovery screen may send your player identity, error name and message, optional support reference, page path, browser signature, and active release to staff. It does not send cookies, browser storage, form contents, page HTML, character state, or a stack trace.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate players, save progress, operate registration and multiplayer systems, balance the economy, prevent fraud and abuse, resolve errors, provide support, and improve the game.
Public and private identity
Your sign-in email, password credential, and real name are not shown to ordinary players. Other players see your game name, avatar, biography, public achievements, equipment, family history, and gameplay records the game marks public.
Passwords and sessions
Passwords are transformed using a salted, deliberately expensive password hash and are never stored or shown in plain text. Successful login creates a random server-side session represented by a Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite cookie. Repeated failed logins are rate limited.
Cookies, advertising, and browser storage
MyMafia uses strictly necessary cookies for secure sessions and stores your cookie-notice choice locally so the notice does not return on every visit. Google Ads campaign measurement is configured with advertising, analytics, user-data, and personalization storage denied by default. If you accept optional measurement, Google may use advertising and analytics storage to measure campaign visits and advertising performance. Choosing Necessary only keeps that optional storage denied. MyMafia does not sell personal information.
Service providers and sharing
Information may be processed by hosting, database, email-delivery, payment, security, advertising-measurement, and infrastructure providers needed to operate and promote MyMafia. Google may process campaign-measurement data only according to your cookie choice. Payment providers receive payment details directly when checkout is activated; MyMafia should not store full card information.
Retention and security
Records are retained as reasonably needed for gameplay, testing, support, disputes, fraud prevention, moderation, and legal obligations. Client crash diagnostics automatically expire after 30 days and are capped at the 20 newest reports per player. We use server-side access controls, login limits, guarded transactions, security monitoring, and audit logs, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion through Support. For deletion without signing in or installing the app, use Account Deletion. You may choose Necessary only in the cookie notice. Identity verification may be required before fulfilling account or privacy requests.
Mobile apps and app stores
When MyMafia is installed through a mobile storefront, that storefront may process installation, device, purchase, transaction, refund, and diagnostic information under its own terms. MyMafia receives only the records needed to authenticate accounts, operate the game, verify and fulfill eligible purchases, prevent fraud, provide support, and reconcile refunds or revocations. The final store privacy disclosures are based on the behavior of the submitted app and its included software.
Age requirement and changes
MyMafia is for adults age 18 or older. Registration requires an explicit age confirmation. This notice may change as the game, payment systems, or legal requirements develop; material updates will be announced.
